Spire Abergele Clinic is seeking a Bank Specialist Nurse to join the team on a bank basis. The role supports outpatient and day case treatments across ophthalmology, dermatology, gynaecology, urology, orthopaedics, breast and vascular services.

You will run nurse-led clinics, assist pre-operative investigations, and help with documentation and patient information. A current NMC registration and the ability to work with limited supervision are essential; ECG and phlebotomy training are

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with no restriction on practice.
• Competence across a range of nursing skills.
• Experience of working in teams with minimum supervision.

Responsabilités

• Run nurse led clinics and assist in pre-operative investigations.
• Carry out any other duties delegated by the Clinic Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department.
• Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patient's and minor surgical procedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants.
• Complete documentation to a high standard.
• Carry out individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards complying with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain and provide patients with relevant and accessible written information regarding their procedures / treatments.

Spire Abergele is looking for a Bank Specialist Nurse to join the team on a bank basis. Spire Abergele Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a Nurse from an outpatient setting or theatre to work across the clinics we offer which include Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Breast and Vascular.

Clinic Opening hours - shifts will range between these times.

• Monday - Friday 0800-20:00
• Saturday 0800-16:00
• Sunday - Closed

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Run nurse led clinics and assist in pre-operative investigations
• Carry out any other duties delegated by the Clinic Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department

Who we're looking for:

It would be advantageous to :

• Have experience of working in outpatient or a surgical environment
• Be ECG and Phlebotomy trained
