Position

An opportunity has arisen for Bank Special Care Dental Nurse based in Arran War Memorial Hospital

This is a Bank Position

Hours: As and When Required

What you will do:

You will be required to provide full chair side assistance to the clinician, carry out dental reception duties and decontamination duties within the Local Decontamination Units & within the dental surgery. Current and relevant chair side experience is essential.

You should have excellent organisational skills, be highly motivated, and be able to priorities workload, have excellent communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. You will be required to work in local decontamination Units within the Dental Surgery.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be registered with the General Dental Council, hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing or Oral Health Care Dental Nursing SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have a current portfolio of Continuing Professional Development.

Current and relevant chair side experience is essential. You should also have excellent organisational skills, be highly motivated and able to prioritise workload, have excellent communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
