Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Bank Senior Care Assistant for a casual, part-time role in our care home. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants and support the clinical team with medication, assessments, and care plans, while delivering personalised, dignified care.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, with warm, compassionate manners and a commitment to residents' wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Strong knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualized care

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Always respect residents' dignity and preferences while delivering warm, person-centred care.
