Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Birchmere House Care Home in Knowle, Solihull. You will oversee nursing care, act as a person in charge when needed, and maintain high standards of resident care.

You will hold a First Level qualification and be registered with the NMC, with a minimum of two years’ care experience. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in care, with post-basic studies/qualification if applicable.
• Display strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertake nursing tasks including medication administration and dressings.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in resident conditions and involve them in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care team during duty periods to ensure residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
