Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Registered Nurse - Bank for Elvy Court Care Home in Sittingbourne. You will act as person in charge when required, ensuring high standards of resident care and supporting the on-site team.

Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and knowledge of care planning. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of care.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
• Ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed.
• Responsible for deployment and supervision of staff within the care team during shift.
• Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
