Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking registered nurses to join our Nurse Bank across North Wales hospitals and community settings. This role offers flexible working patterns to suit your needs and professional development.

As a Band 5–ish level nurse, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with colleagues to meet patient and family needs. Welsh language skills are desirable; both Welsh- and English-speaking applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

  • NMC Registered (essential).
  • Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care.
  • Experience of providing holistic nursing care.
  • Interest in developing nursing skills.
  • Clear understanding of contract of care.
  • Ability to document details clearly and accurately.
  • Clear understanding of consent process.
  • Welsh speaker is desirable.
  • Basic IT skills.

Job Overview

The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
