Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in Stafford is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to join our bank team across two sites, Royal Stoke and County Hospital. This flexible, zero-hour bank contract offers experience across wards and dispensary work.

You will handle dispensing controlled drugs, gain experience with IT systems like Ascribe and Omnicell, maintain stock, support medicines optimisation, and help train junior staff. We value accuracy, teamwork and adaptability.

You must be a team player with the ability to work flexibly and react positively to change. Essential skills include an eye for detail, high level of accuracy and knowing the limitations of the role. You must be able to follow written procedures, work under supervision and complete tasks accurately to set deadlines.
