This could be the perfect opportunity for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician looking for their next challenge or a Rotational Pharmacy Technician looking to expand their horizons and gain experience at a higher level within the dispensary area.

The successful candidate will demonstrate dynamism and commitment and be a valued as a team player whilst assisting the Specialist Technicians in the running of the dispensary.
As a member of the Patient Services team, you would be encouraged to contribute to the forward planning of the department and help in the co-ordination of workflow whilst undertaking a wide range of duties including accuracy checking and dispensing.

The dispensary opening hours are 8:45am - 7pm and working hours for this post can be negotiated, however a commitment to working until 7pm on at least three days will be required.

Undertake a wide range of duties within the inpatient dispensary including contributing to medicines management systems.
Check dispensed items for accuracy as an accredited checker.
Contribute to the efficient delivery of the Pharmaceutical Service to Patients, Wards, and Departments both within the Trust and to other healthcare organisations.
Supervise the work of other staff in Dispensary Services and contribute to the development and training of other staff.
