The Role

You will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team working alongside consultants, conducting pre- and post-operative consultations, and assessing patient suitability for treatments. Key responsibilities include:

• Perform examinations related to refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries
• Manage acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery for all patients
• Provide health advice and support to hospital patients
• Offer first-line clinical advice and refer patients to medical practitioners when necessary

What You’ll Need

• Current GOC registration as a qualified optometrist
• Extensive hospital experience, with IP or YAG training
• Experience with patient administration and electronic medical record systems
• Experience meeting conversion targets and KPIs within Vision Correction
