SpaMedica, the UK’s largest NHS cataract surgery provider, is seeking a Bank Optical Assistant. You will support the team in pre and post-op consultations, operate imaging machines, and assist in theatres.

You will be responsible for supporting the team in pre and post-op consultations, using diagnostic imaging machines on patients. You will also be expecting to provide support in theatres during surgery and to act as a theatre runner.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. Therefore, a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) will be necessary to check for any previous criminal convictions.
