Job summary

SpaMedica, the UK’s largest NHS cataract surgery provider, is seeking a Bank Optical Assistant. You will support the team in pre and post-op consultations, operate imaging machines, and assist in theatres.

This zero-hour role offers a rate of £12.71 per hour, with shifts from 7.30am to 5.30pm, and a commitment to safety, integrity and compassionate care. DBS checks apply to all applicants.

About you:

You will be responsible for supporting the team in pre and post-op consultations, using diagnostic imaging machines on patients. You will also be expecting to provide support in theatres during surgery and to act as a theatre runner.
