Job description

We have an exciting opportunity in our Eastbourne clinic for a nurse who wants to make a difference in our patients' lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education programme, Academy.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for managing care programmes for renal patients, following tailored care plans as per Consultant instructions, and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record. Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaverum processes, reviewing pre- and post-haemodialysis care with patients, and working in a multidisciplinary team.

Role overview

We have an exciting opportunity in our Eastbourne clinic for a qualified Registered Dialysis Nurse to join our Diaverum bank. Our bank offers flexibility to choose shifts and clinics. We use an online booking system for shifts, allowing you to select your preferred clinics and book directly.

We seek individuals eager to make a difference. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures to enhance patients' quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow care programmes for renal patients, including initiation and termination of dialysis, providing stable clinical care, emotional support, and promoting independence.
  • Follow tailored care plans to administer medications, fluid therapy, or other treatments as per Consultant instructions, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Review pre- and post-haemodialysis care with patients.
  • Prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems according to Diaverum processes.
  • Provide treatment to assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care at all times.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of NMC code of professional conduct
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience as a Haemodialysis nurse within the UK
  • Positive and dynamic approach to safe and effective care delivery
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Please note that this role requires clinical work in a renal setting. All positions are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
