Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board in Wales seeks enthusiastic staff to join our bank team delivering mental health care in the community, home, or inpatient settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with supervision from a registered healthcare professional.

Welsh language training is provided. The rural sites require travel between locations, and shifts may be on weekends or evenings within the bank framework. This role supports development within NHS Wales.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a health care related subject or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of HEIW All Wales Delegation Guidelines and safeguarding.
• Certified PMVA training.
• Experience in the NHS.
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients in community, home or inpatient settings with supervision.
• Support personal care and daily living tasks and clinical duties.
• Update registered healthcare professional on patient condition and progress.
• Maintain safe and hygienic environment according to infection control policies.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
• Work in line with Health Board values and code of conduct.
