Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our bank staff. This is a Bank position only.

You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients in the community, home settings or inpatient services, with supervision from a registered healthcare professional. The role is Band 3 under the Agenda for Change pay system, with flexible working patterns and a salary of £26,813 to £27,890 per year (pro rata).

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a health care related subject or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection policies (GDPR).
• Willingness to undertake PMVA training during induction.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients in the community, home setting or inpatient services.
• Assist with personal care activities and daily living tasks under supervision.
• Monitor patient condition and update the supervising professional regularly.
• Maintain safe and hygienic environments following infection control policies.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
