Job summary

Bupa at Cromwell Hospital, London SW5 0TU is seeking an MDT Coordinator on a bank contract (1–2 shifts per week) with a pay rate of £17 per hour.

The MDT Coordinator will support safe, timely patient care by coordinating Multidisciplinary Team meetings, ensuring information is available and records are accurate.

You will work with clinicians and admin teams to maintain high standards of organisation, data quality and confidentiality, contributing to excellent patient care and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for MDT meetings with strong organisational skills.
  • Maintain a polite and confidential approach.
  • Work as part of a team, sharing tasks to provide high-quality service for staff and patients.
  • Produce and circulate patient lists and attendee rosters.
  • Ensure case notes and images are available for meetings.
  • Record discussions and outcomes accurately and circulate by letter or report.

Bank contract - 1 to 2 shifts a week

Salary: £17 per hour

Shifts will vary week to week depending on need but will primarily be to cover leave and sickness absence with additional admin assistance from time to time.

Role Overview

The MDT Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting safe, effective, and timely patient care by coordinating Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings. The post holder ensures that patients are appropriately scheduled for discussion, that all relevant clinical information is available, and that outcomes and decisions from MDT meetings are accurately recorded and communicated.

Working closely with clinicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams, the MDT Coordinator maintains high standards of organisation, data quality, and confidentiality, enabling the MDT process to function efficiently and in line with governance requirements.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
  • Provide administrative support to MDT meeting(s) meeting excellent organisational and time keeping skills.
  • To always maintain a polite and friendly manner and a high standard of confidentiality
  • To work as part of a team – showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients.
  • Produce and circulate lists of patients to be discussed and maintain a list of attendees.
  • Ensure case notes, scan images and any other relevant information is available at the meeting.
  • Responsible for producing an accurate record of the discussion and outcome of MDT meetings and ensuring that this information is circulated MDT members by letter and/or report in a timely manner.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
