Job summary

YMCA Heart of England in Solihull is seeking a Bank Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 to join our Nursery team on a casual contract. The role supports children from 0 to 5 years, creating a warm, enabling environment where every child can reach their potential through a child-centred approach.

You will need EYFS knowledge, a willingness to work flexibly, and a commitment to safeguarding. Experience with a 2-year-old group is preferred, and a DBS check will be part of the appointment process.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming environment to support children's growth and development
• Safely supervise and care for children, following safeguarding policies
• Work with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure children receive needed support
