Job summary

Bright Horizons Solihull is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to support EYFS delivery through engaging activities and play. The role blends bank/agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee, contributing to a team focused on safety, care and education.

You will help children achieve development milestones, participate in daily routines, and support colleagues with room preparation and tidy-up tasks. A Level 3+ qualification and prior nursery experience are required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above
• Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities
• Encourage development towards key milestones
• Assist with day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation
