Job summary

Cygnet Health Care Limited is seeking Bank Kitchen Assistants to support catering operations at Cygnet Hospital Ealing. The role covers morning shifts on a 7 day rota, with duties including cooking, serving, washing up, and maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Applicants should have catering experience, knowledge of HACCP/food safety, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. DBS checks are required, with a supportive environment and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Training.
• Experience of working in a care or Hospital environment.
• Be a good communicator and able to liaise with people at all levels.
• Have good personal hygiene standards.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food in a safe manner.
• Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital by maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude toward clients, their families, staff, visitors and others.
• Wash up after meals as well as being responsible for the overall cleaning of the kitchen and where appropriate the dining area.
• Take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
