Cygnet Hospital Ealing is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant with catering experience to cover flexible ad hoc shifts across a 7-day rota. You will support the Chef and help maintain a hygienic, safe kitchen and dining area in a patient-focused environment.

We value good communication, HACCP knowledge, and reliable team players who uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and quality service. DBS check will be required.

Qualifikationen

• Previous catering experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety training.
• Experience in a care or hospital environment.
• Be a good communicator and able to liaise with people at all levels.
• Have good personal hygiene standards.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Promote and ensure the good reputation of the hospital by maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude toward clients, their families, staff, visitors and others.

• Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.

We are currently recruiting for Bank Kitchen Assistant with previous experience working in a catering/kitchen/hospitality environment who can cover flexible ad hoc shifts as and when required to cover for annual leave, sickness, training, etc. at Cygnet Hospital Ealing. Our current need is for bank staff to cover morning shifts (07:30am to 15:30pm) across a 7 day rota (Monday - Sunday) You will assist the Chef in ensuring that all catering areas are maintained in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe manner, as per the operational standards, and assist in all relevant aspects of the catering operation as required. Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.

Requirements

• Previous catering experience
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Training
• Experience of working in a care or Hospital environment
• Be a good communicator and able to liaise with people at all levels

• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Compensation

• £13.30 per hour + 12.1% holiday pay (£14.91 per hour)
