Job summary

Mearns View Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, seeks a Kitchen Assistant to support delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This is a hands-on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely

Our purpose built, luxury 67-bed care facility is located in the charming town of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. We are proud to provide a range of services which includes Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite & Palliative Care.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to Bank hours per week
• Paid PVG, uniform provided

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
