Job summary

Doonbank Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen environment.

You will support food preparation, keep the kitchen tidy, and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation, working closely with the Chef and wider team to ensure smooth and safe operation.

This role offers a consistent routine and a friendly, supportive environment to build your experience in a well organised kitchen setting.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.

• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Located in the heart of Patna, Doonbank Care Home provides personalised nursing and residential care for up to 36 residents, promoting small group living in a warm, family‑like setting. Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to Bank hours per week
• Paid PVG, uniform provided

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
