Job summary

The Willows Care Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire, is part of Care Concern Group and seeks a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You’ll support meal preparation, keep areas spotless and assist with deliveries and stock control, working with the Chef and wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.

This hands-on role offers a stable routine in a supportive kitchen environment, with opportunities to learn and progress within the care sector.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, reliable and conscientious
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential

The Willows Care Home is a 31 bed care home located in the market town of Hinckley, Leicestershire. Providing residential and residential dementia care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care. Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
