Job description

Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team. This role requires providing high standards of cleanliness across the site, adhering to infection control procedures, and liaising with managers and staff throughout the Trust.

Role Requirements
  • Ensure consistent housekeeping standards across the site.
  • Carry out cleaning tasks in allocated areas following SOPs for hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Follow infection control procedures, especially during outbreaks.
  • Liaise daily with the Housekeeping Supervisor and staff for special requests.
  • Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and maintain stock levels, notifying the Supervisor when reordering is needed.
  • Assist in cleaning communal areas, carpets, curtains, and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
  • Report repairs to fixtures and fittings promptly to the Facilities Helpdesk and Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Participate in routine audits and ensure compliance with service levels.
  • Prioritize tasks to complete assignments timely.
  • Support other site services and facilities team members as required.
  • Undertake additional duties within your skills as reasonably required.
