Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking individuals to join our casual housekeeping team at Meldreth Manor/Orchard Manor, located in Meldreth near Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. The role offers flexibility to choose shifts, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.

About Meldreth Manor/Orchard Manor:

Facilities include Music and Art Rooms, Rebound Therapy, Hydrotherapy, outdoor spaces, Forestry School, Adapted Kitchens, Enterprise Schemes, and Sensory Rooms. The environment supports children and young people with complex learning needs.

Main duties include:

• Dusting and polishing
• Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas
• Vacuuming and washing floors
• Tidying rooms
• Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies
• Reporting repairs
• Cleaning bathrooms and emptying bins

Note: Duties may vary, and flexibility is required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with equipment and materials in care settings
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation for cleaning
• Experience cleaning various surfaces
• High standards, attention to detail, reliability, positive work ethic
