Job summary

Cygnet Kenney House in Oldham is seeking a confident Bank Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for women with mental health needs. You will work Bank Shifts at a hospital setting, supporting care services and adhering to safety procedures. A friendly, reliable attitude and COSHH awareness are desirable.

Successful candidates will be DBS checked prior to joining the team. Bank shifts offer flexible hours and opportunities for progression within the care environment.

• Experienced in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures

You'll have the opportunity to work Bank Shifts at Cygnet Kenney House, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. Cygnet Kenney House is our hospital for women, located in Oldham. The services provide a safe and secure care pathway for women with mental health need and are now open. We have collaborated with the NHS to develop services to support women from the North West to be treated closer to home. There are three wards at Cygnet Kenney House; Billington Ward, a 12 bed specialist Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Baldock Ward, a 16 bed Acute service and Harben Ward, a 16 bed mental health rehabilitation and recovery service. Your Day-to-Day

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service

• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
