Spire Methley Park Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our Staffing Bank in Methley, LS26. The role requires flexibility to pick up regular shifts across Early, Late, Long Day and Night patterns and prior hospital ward experience.

The post involves delivering planned patient care, assisting the nursing team and handling diagnostic equipment after training. MS Office and SAP literacy is desirable, with NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care preferred.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Experience as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or equivalent is required.
• System literacy with MS Office and SAP is desirable.

Spire Methley Park has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our Staffing Bank.

• Must be very flexible to pick up regular shifts
• Shift Patterns are a combination of - Early’s, Lates, Long Days, Nights
• Must have previous experience working in a hospital setting

Spire Methley Park Hospital situated in Methley in South Leeds, has recently completed a 7.6 million refurbishment, which included a new theatre equipped with cutting-edge technology enabling us to carry out complex surgery across a variety of clinical specialties. At Spire Methley Park Hospital caring for our patients is at the heart of what we do. We provide expert medical care in our modern, well-equipped hospital for all of our patients.

Duties and responsibilities;

To provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.

You will be required to:

• In this fast-paced role, you will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
• As a HCA, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient’s health and well-being.
• You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
• You must have experience or a willingness to learn both Venepuncture and ECG Recording.

Who we're looking for
