Job summary

Spire Leeds Hospital is seeking a Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our Staffing Bank in Leeds. This role is flexible and requires handling a variety of shifts across Early, Late, Long Day and Night patterns.

Experience in a hospital setting is essential to support our clinical teams and maintain high patient care standards. You will work with our Nursing team and assist with routine care, equipment setup, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
• Must have previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or ward experience.
• System literacy is essential; MS Office and SAP is desirable.
• Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.
• Assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary care within the department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
• Duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure patients’ health and well-being.
• Move and set up diagnostic equipment and other resources, and apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
• Must have experience or willingness to learn Venepuncture and ECG Recording.

Spire Leeds has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our Staffing Bank.

• Must be very flexible to pick up regular shifts
• Shift Patterns are a combination of - Early’s, Lates, Long Days, Nights
• Must have previous experience working in a hospital setting

Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week

Duties and responsibilities
