Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, and patient-focused Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our friendly radiology team as BANK radiographer.

Our services are provided on two sites at the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals. An interview date is yet to be confirmed.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic-quality images that are properly identified with regard to the patient’s name, side examined, date of examination, etc., in line with trust and departmental protocols.
• Adequately trained in the safe and competent use of equipment prior to operating it.
• Fully competent in the operation of all appropriate imaging equipment.
• Use knowledge and skill to adapt radiographic technique for complicated cases.
• Be responsible for the welfare and comfort of patients in the department.

About the Trust and Sites

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
