As a Paediatric Nurse at our hospital, you will need to be alert, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You must be registered with the appropriate governing body, such as the NMC, and possess relevant qualifications and experience. Post-registration experience is essential, and a Paediatric Immediate Life Support certificate (PILS) or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities of a Paediatric Nurse:

• Bring valuable post-registration experience, including work on surgical wards, with training suited for both paediatric and adult care environments.
• Possess Intermediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification if possible.
• Deliver exceptional care to children aged 3-16 years during their pre/post operative stay and when attending clinics and procedures.
• Support children through their hospital journey, providing trusted support to patients and their families.
• Provide high-quality, clinically effective care as part of the ward team.
• Broaden your skills across various cases and specialist areas.
• Enjoy flexible working hours.
