Bank Chef

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Bank Chef at Wimborne House, Kent.

Although titled as Chef, the role may also be known as Demi Chef, Line Chef, Cook, Chef de Partie (CDP), or Commis Chef.

The role includes:

• Providing high-quality catering tailored to individual needs, including special diets
• Managing food and labour budgets through rota planning, purchasing, and inventory control
• Handling orders, stock locations, audits, and daily records within set timelines
• Ensuring food safety standards and team understanding of safety protocols
• Scheduling cleaning and maintenance for food areas and equipment
• Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining high sanitation standards
• Supervising and developing staff

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in catering and cooking for diverse groups
• Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Knowledge of online catering software
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Experience managing budgets
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and good communication skills
