Job description

As a Team Leader at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and providing high-quality care.

About Aria Court Care Home:

After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a sparkling 92-bedroom care home with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home-grown fruit and vegetables.

About the role:

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key part in care delivery in the home. Our Team Leader supports us to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

Development from this role can lead to CHAPS or nursing positions, and we offer fully funded apprenticeships to help you achieve an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Salary:

£13.07 per hour.

Shift Pattern:

[Bank] hours per week, 12-hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty.
  • Assist, motivate, and inspire passion into our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.
  • Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of our care team, celebrating every individual and helping our team to achieve their potential.
  • Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations of blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, temperature, blood oxygenation level, and monitoring urine output.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
  • A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will prioritize the needs of our residents.
  • Experience in a similar senior care position.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
