Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Dumfries is seeking Bank Support Practitioners to provide person-centred care on a flexible shift basis. You will support individuals in their own homes, helping with daily living, meals, appointments, finances and personal care, with a focus on maintaining independence.

No experience is required as full training is provided; female candidates with a UK driving licence and access to a car are preferred. PVG and references are required.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Female candidates only due to service needs; must have a UK Driving Licence (Manual) and access to own car.
• PVG disclosure and satisfactory references; SSSC registration within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support individuals living in their own homes with daily living tasks.
• Assist with meals, medication, appointments, finances, moving and handling, and personal care.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain relationships with family and friends.
