Job summary

Dale Park Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents, supporting daily living activities and dignity. You will work as part of a friendly team in a welcoming home, contributing to comfort and wellbeing and following care plans to maintain high standards of care.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with opportunities to progress within Care Concern Group.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to support safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment where relationships matter and residents feel cared for.

About Dale Park Care Home

Our 45 bedded home provides residential dementia and nursing dementia care. Located in a residential area of Southport, Dale Park is a welcoming home with landscaped gardens, comfortable bedrooms and dedicated spaces for hobbies and activities. Our friendly team creates a supportive, family atmosphere where colleagues can make a genuine difference to residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45- £13.95 per hour
• Contracted on Bank
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
