£12.60 per hour

Hours as and when required - Nights and Days Available

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Bank Care and Support Assistant at our CQC-registered Physical Disability Service, Clover Court, Lowestoft.

The role of Bank Care and Support Assistant includes:

1. Providing support to encourage customers with learning and physical disabilities to maximize their potential and independence.
2. Key working with individuals to develop and support their care plans.
3. Following care plans and maintaining detailed care notes.
4. Delivering high-quality, personalised care, including personal care and medication management.
5. Assisting customers with daily activities such as washing and dressing.
6. Engaging with customers to promote social inclusion and prevent isolation.
7. Ensuring a clean and comfortable environment in collaboration with customers and staff.
8. Promoting safe practices and conducting risk assessments.

Skills and experiences required:

1. Prior experience in personal care is desirable.
2. A kind and caring nature.
3. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to changing customer needs.
5. Excellent organisational skills.
6. NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it is desirable.
