Bank Care and Support Assistant

£12.60 per hour

Hours as and when required - Nights and Days Available

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Bank Care and Support Assistant at our CQC-registered Physical Disability Service, Clover Court, Lowestoft.

We deliver a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services across England to help people live as independently as possible.

Role of Bank Care and Support Assistant includes:

  • Supporting customers with learning and physical disabilities to maximize their independence
  • Key working with individuals to develop and support their care plans
  • Following care plans and maintaining detailed care notes
  • Providing high-quality, personalized care, including personal care and medication management
  • Assisting customers with daily activities such as washing and dressing
  • Engaging with customers to promote social inclusion and prevent isolation
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Promoting safety and conducting risk assessments

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in delivering personal care is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing customer needs
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
