Job summary

Operose Health is recruiting a Receptionist/Administrator to join our Oak Tree Health Centre team in Didcot. You will support reception duties, manage appointments, handle patient records with confidentiality, and liaise with the wider primary care team to improve access and patient experience.

We value clear communication, basic IT skills (Word, Excel, email) and a customer-focused approach. NHS experience is welcome but not essential, with comprehensive on‑site training and opportunities to

  • Responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team, managing appointment requests, signposting patients to services and maintaining patient records and confidentiality.
  • Emailing, scanning and coding clinical correspondence.
  • Processing prescription requests.
  • Utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes.

Job Introduction

Job title: Receptionist/Administrator

Location: Oak Tree Health Centre, Didcot

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Hours: 0 (Bank)

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
