Job summary

Arriva Group is seeking a Qualified Coach Driver based at the Bangor depot to operate the Bangor to Aberystwyth route. This permanent role offers 38 hours per week, five days out of seven, with weekend shifts and potential bank holidays.

You will perform vehicle safety checks, adhere to tachograph rules, and deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle environment on the dedicated route.

Qualifications

• A valid PCV Category D licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Your Tachocard is valid.
• Good knowledge of tachographs and drivers' hours regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally driving the Bangor to Aberystwyth route.
• Working 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends/bank holidays.
• Completing vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Complying with road safety, procedures and transport legislation.
• Using Tachograph correctly and ensuring drivers' hours compliance.
• Providing welcoming, professional customer service throughout journeys.
• Assisting customers with queries and supporting them onboard.
• Luggage handling and some manual lifting.
