Job Title: Locum Podiatrist

Banding: 6

Location: Coventry

Start: ASAP

Duration: Until 31 March

Rate: £24 – £27

Working hours: Monday – Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Podiatrist to join our team in Coventry. This role involves providing high-quality podiatric care to patients within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting home visits and clinic-based appointments, ensuring comprehensive foot care and management for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Conduct home visits to provide care to patients unable to attend clinic appointments, ensuring their mobility and foot health are maintained. A vehicle is required for home visits.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education on foot care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Podiatry.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience in community podiatric care.
  • Ability to conduct home visits (vehicle required).
  • Strong clinical skills in foot and lower limb management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
