Birmingham Community Health is seeking an exceptional clinically skilled podiatrist and leader to join the team within the Podiatry service. The successful candidate must possess extensive expertise and leadership experience in high-risk lower limb conditions. This role involves developing and shaping the podiatry service to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care to our culturally diverse city.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Podiatrist to provide leadership and development in high-quality podiatry and high-risk care. Leadership is a significant aspect of this role, including providing ongoing education and training to a wide range of staff.
Applicants should demonstrate proven success in staff leadership, clinical expertise across all aspects of podiatry, and maintain a high level of specialism.
The post involves providing expert clinical leadership within a highly specialised area of Podiatry across Birmingham, developing and coordinating service provision across various settings. You will manage and support a team of clinicians, including highly specialist clinicians and team leaders, and deputise for the Podiatry Clinical Lead and Clinical Service Managers as required.
You will oversee the provision of Podiatry Services in line with commissioning, NICE, and national best practice guidelines, ensuring the service is responsive to local capacity and demand.
