The Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Provider Collaborative brings together Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust (BWC), and representatives from the Third Sector and Local Authorities to collaborate on the future design and delivery of mental health services across Birmingham and Solihull.
We have a Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for a 12-month role for an experienced Senior Contract Manager within the Contract Team. The role involves managing a mix of income and expenditure contracts and service level agreements.
The post holder will provide comprehensive support to the MHPC Contracts Lead to ensure the contracting function is well-organized, efficient, and effective. They will take senior responsibility in the preparation, negotiation, and management of the MHPC’s complex portfolio of contracts.
Additional responsibilities include managing and assisting in the delivery and reporting of Performance Reviews, overseeing the annual contract negotiation process, and representing the MHPC in external forums related to contractual matters, fostering strong relationships with commissioners.
