Job Title: Senior Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist

Location: London, Greater London

Banding: Band 7

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months +

Rate: £25-28 per hour

Working hours: Monday – Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist to join our client’s team in London. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Infinity and Roche c8000, looking to advance their careers in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services and ensuring optimal outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be:

The role involves performing a range of diagnostic tests and procedures in biochemistry. Responsibilities include analysing biochemical samples, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. The position also requires authorisation and quality elements such as IQC installation review and EQA review, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory services.

Qualifications and Experiences:
  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience with Infinity and Roche c8000
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice
