Where a suitable Band 7 candidate is not identified, the post may be offered as a development role with structured support, practical training and completion of a Master’s‑level education in paediatric audiology, progressing to Band 7 upon successful completion of agreed competencies. The role is ideal for candidates wishing to develop leadership skills, with responsibilities including quality assurance, supervision and service development.
