Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a graduate level state-registered physiotherapist to join a 7-day service. You will provide specialised physiotherapy with evidence-based practice and support for junior staff, apprentices and Rehabilitation Assistants.

You will assist Team Leads in planning, delivery and evaluation of the Therapy service, deputise on clinical and leadership duties, and participate in weekend work and on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate state-registered physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience.
• Experience supervising band 5 staff, apprentices and students.
• Willingness to participate in weekend work and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised, evidence-based physiotherapy as part of a 7-day service.
• Offer supervision and clinical guidance to band 5 staff, apprentices and students.
• Assist Team Leads in planning, delivery and evaluation of the Therapy service.
• Deputise for the Team Lead on clinical issues and leadership duties.
• Maintain broad knowledge of physiotherapy specialities and departmental issues.
• Participate in weekend work and respiratory on-call duties as required.
