Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised individual to be appointed as the Research Imaging Manager within the growing R&D Office at the Royal Free Hospital.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, be practical, methodical, and organised.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate clinical trial activities requiring imaging and/or radiotherapy, working closely with research delivery, imaging, radiotherapy, and medical physics departments.
  2. Support new research applications involving imaging and/or radiotherapy, including registration on R&D databases and document collation.
  3. Assist with administrative tasks for the Trial Feasibility Committees (TFCs), document control, and data entry.
  4. Provide cross-cover support to the R&D office team.
  5. Advise researchers on the application process to R&D, HRA, and RECs, including reviewing amendments, sponsorship requests, and project planning.
