Research Imaging Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organized individual to be appointed as the Research Imaging Manager within the growing R&D Office at the Royal Free Hospital.

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, be practical, methodical, and organized.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with research delivery, imaging, radiotherapy, and medical physics departments to ensure the efficient, timely, and responsive coordination of clinical trial activity requiring imaging and/or radiotherapy.
  2. Provide coordination support to new research applications involving imaging and/or radiotherapy, including working with the Research Portfolio Manager to register applications on the R&D databases and collate documents.
  3. Work with the R&D Coordinator to support Trial Feasibility Committees (TFCs) through administrative support, document control, and data entry.
  4. Offer advice and guidance to researchers on the application process to R&D, HRA, and RECs, including reviewing amendments, sponsorship requests, and project planning.
