Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join a dedicated team in Epsom. The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical skills in paediatric physiotherapy, working within a school setting. You will manage a defined caseload independently, ensuring effective service provision through assessments, goal setting, and intervention planning. This role is ideal for an experienced physiotherapist passionate about working with children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist paediatric physiotherapy within a school setting.
Manage a caseload of children and young people as per the service specification.
Independently prioritise workload to ensure efficient service delivery.
Conduct clinical assessments using interviews, observations, and standardised tools.
Determine physiotherapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Set goals and plan interventions to improve mobility, posture, and functional skills.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers to support therapy outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development.
Key Requirements:
HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
Experience in paediatric physiotherapy, preferably within a school or community setting.
Strong clinical assessment and intervention planning skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in paediatric physiotherapy.
