Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 rotational physiotherapist in London. The post moves through nine monthly placements in inpatient physiotherapy, with autonomous assessment and treatment of an own caseload across acute, chronic, and complex conditions.

Responsibilities include maintaining treatment plans and records, participating in weekend and on-call rotas, supervising junior therapists, and delivering education to staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Degree or graduate diploma in physiotherapy, or equivalent.
• Certificated graduate courses or equivalent in-house training in clinical specialty areas.
• HCPC registration as a physiotherapist.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat own caseload of inpatients autonomously, including acute, chronic and complex presentations.
• Maintain treatment plans, records and statistics.
• Participate in the weekend and on-call rota.
• Supervise and teach junior therapists, students and assistants.
• Teach within the multidisciplinary team and deliver staff and patient education groups.
• Undertake and present evidence-based projects and research under line supervision.
