Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a specialist physiotherapist to provide high-standard physiotherapy care across in-patient rotations. The post involves autonomous management of complex caseloads, teaching juniors, and contributing to MDT education and research under supervision.

You will participate in weekend/on-call rotas and support departmental audits while delivering evidence-based practice in a large NHS trust with extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner.
• Participate in weekend and on-call rota.
• Supervise and teach junior therapists, students and assistants.
• Involve in MDT teaching, staff and patient education groups.

To provide a high standard of specialist physiotherapy service to a wide range of Physiotherapy in-patients. This post consists of 9 monthly

Rotations In The Following Clinical Areas

• Health Services for Elderly People. (HSEP)
• Rapid Response ( A+E and acute medicine )
• Oncology
• Respiratory
• General surgery and Liver Transplantation
• Renal
• Vascular Surgery and Amputees

To assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous and independent practitioner for patients who may have acute, chronic complex presentation, and maintain appropriate treatment plans, and/or records and statistics.

• To participate in the weekend and on call rota
• Supervise and teach junior therapists, students and assistants
• To be involved in the teaching of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), staff and patient education groups.
• Undertake and present evidence-based projects and research including departmental audit and suggesting practice changes, under the supervision of line supervisor.
