Job summary

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Midwife to provide holistic care across the maternity pathway, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. You will work across hospital settings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure family‑centred care.

The role offers opportunities for Newly Qualified midwives through dedicated support, with full or part‑time hours and pro rata salary.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Registration is required.
• Registered Midwife status is essential.
• Degree level or equivalent or diploma with related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic midwifery care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Deliver care in hospital, Birth Centre, Day Assessment Unit, Maternity Triage and Transitional Care Unit.
• Join a proactive, friendly team and contribute to maintaining high standards of family‑centred care.
• Flexibility to work shifts including nights and on call duties.
