Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in Stafford is seeking a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer to rotate between General X-ray and CT at the County Hospital Imaging Department. The post offers a varied rotational role with a tailored training programme, including IV cannulation.

The successful candidate will have a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, NHS experience, and a willingness to lead a team, supervise staff, and participate in 24/7 rosters.

Qualifications

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography or DCR (equivalent).
• Evidence of in-house training in leadership or modality related.
• NHS Band 5+ with experience considered for progression.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between General X-ray and CT in the County Hospital Imaging Department.
• Participate in a tailored training programme including IV cannulation.
• Support development and act as a clinical expert in imaging.
• Supervise junior staff and students when required.
