Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, invites applications for Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our Community X-ray team on a part-time, flexible basis. The role covers seven X-ray rooms across five sites, with a 30-hour week and shifts between 7am and 10pm.

We seek patient-centred communicators, adaptable team players, and those with HCPC registration and NHS imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months working knowledge of Plain Film Radiography.
• Experience of using a RIS and PACS System.
• Organisation, Prioritisation and Planning Skills.
• Awareness and knowledge of current H&S Regulations.
• Experience and understanding of Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of IRR17 & IR(ME)R Regulations.
• Knowledge of Wellbeing CRIS and Sectra PACS systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
• Knowledge of Equipment.
• Experience of working in an NHS Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

• Act as clinical lead when on duty and manage competing clinical demands.
• Organise, prioritise and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge, confidence and approachability while supporting colleagues.
• Work as part of a rotational team across multiple community sites and four locations.
• Contribute to seven-day rotation including BHs and extended hours.
